In 2020 we began the restoration of the ruin that was El Cipreret. Today Mariola Secreta is a luxury rural farmhouse offering contemporary rustic accommodation, gourmet food & drink and a wide range of activities all set in the stunning Sierra de Mariola natural park in the province of Valencia. Built with strong eco values we generate 100% of our electricity and have a mountain source for water. Our food offering has become legendary – all cooked from scratch using local ingredients, some of which we grow onsite. Each of our beautiful ensuite rooms has a large SuperKing or Kingsize bed, walk in rain shower and double sinks, 100% natural Bramley toiletries, underfloor heating for cosy winter stays and a ceiling fan for cool mountain summer ventilation. The farmhouse has numerous spaces to relax both inside and out. Our enormous glazed garden terrace room is a great place to eat and relax all year round.
This area is one of Spain’s best kept secrets and just an hour from Valencia or Alicante airport, the Serra de Mariola park is the perfect place to relax, renew and learn new things…
Whether you are looking for complete relaxation or an active break we have it all. Fabulous Hiking and Cross Country Mountain Biking right from our front door, Road and Gravel Biking, Yoga, local vineyards to visit, a 15 metre heated pool, sauna and the most tranquil location you could wish for.

I cannot recommend Mariola Secreta highly enough – it’s truly a lovely place to visit. Set in the natural park the nature and scenery is stunning and is a fitting backdrop to the beautiful home Andrea & Ben have made. The house has been lovingly restored and Andrea’s magical touch is everywhere from the beautiful reclaimed furnishings to the sun hats and dressing gowns in the bedrooms. The food is wonderful too. Its all local seasonal produce and all homecooked by Andrea. Ben is a great considerate host too, especially taking guests on bike tours of the local area. All is all if you want to get away and really focus on restoring your body and soul Mariola Secreta is a must.

I just returned from a week at Mariola Secreta and still searching for the words to describe my time there. From the moment I arrived, my expectations were exceeded tenfold. Andrea and Ben have thought of every single detail. From the ensuite restrooms outfitted with luxurious Bramley toiletries, to beautiful throw blankets in every seating area, to Ben’s frothy milk! But the best part was Andrea’s divine cooking. To experience a meal by Andrea is to feel like you’ve been eating in black and white your entire life and now eating in colour. Mariola Secreta is a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered!

Where to start? Scents of pine trees, lavender and rosemary. Andrea’s lovely food. My son said, “there’s no universe in which I haven’t gained weight here, the food is so good’. I’m trying to find the words that describe how adventures can be so relaxing. One minute you’re off on a hilly and rocky e-mountain bike ride led by Ben, who knows the area and will match the route to your riding skills, the next you’re lounging by the beautiful swimming pool, and then you’re off to jump in river rock pools, or to the beach or a nearby town for dinner. I loved my stay here. Andrea and Ben have done a fantastic job in creating this slice of paradise in Spain and they are fantastic hosts. I will definitely be going back.
